I looked into Salesforce and it looks like a facinating program that businesses can use to well, make business more efficient. Today, I stumbled upon a website called Trailhead. Apparently, it’s a fun way to learn Salesforce.

I would look at Trailhead as something for personal development rather than for getting a job. I have to agree with pcon. The knowledge gained by completing Trailhead badges is certainly useful in getting a job, and any employer who is aware of Trailhead is probably actively engaged in the Salesforce ecosystem (good sign).

I’ve first came across salesforce since June of this year and have completed 89 badges done all 3 super badges, completed the admin trailheads. I’ve paid for practice exams on udemy, mike wheelers practice exams, and focus on force practice exams.

I just had a phone screen with a fortune 500, and next they are having me do a 70 min live coding exam on CodeSignal, which I have to do in Java, because it does not offer Apex. I feel ok with this, even though I’m not as great with Java as I am with Apex.
